hello everyone, thanks for helping out.. really appreciate it.. well, i've called up eon service center before this and they said it's a definite nono to change the air filter.. it seems the only thing they allow to change or add on is the body kit :lol: dont they realise stock parts suck? geez

izso : hey man, do u know me? where ya get my name from? neways, thanks for the advice man.. i guess i shouldnt be fooling around with warranty claims eh, summore proton cars so famous for screwing up in durability, sure need to claim eh.. guess i'll have to wait till my warranty expires before i put on strut bars :( btw, izzit easily removable? if it is.... :D btw, u reckon i shouldnt change the size of the rims?

Nope I don't know you and you don't know me but your name is posted on the 1st page of this thread! :) Eh.. VS and grounding don't allow meh? Dude, do your VS and grounding first. It shouldn't void warranty cuz no wires whatsoever cut. It helps a little in horsepower (very little bit) and should help you loads for your ICE.

Yea...bought my car last year August..still under waranty but i think now they don't wanna give me warranty also liao :lol: :lol: ...a lot of different under the hood already...cut here and there in the engine bay...but if got anything happen need to claim can still revert hahahaha..if i dont spray my rocker cover different color lo :P

For the mentioned ITEMs u can find in DIY garage, if you still dont understand then only ask here lo :D ...u will know there is many thing u can do to ur car

I also wanna get an ultra-racing strut bar lo...me poor mar...get a cheap stick first la...not bad what the effect :lol: can feel before and after.

Don;t change to 15" rim lar, if u r going for more responses. ;)

hi...is there any handling difference between iswara a/b s.e (grey onli color) and the new saga a/b (the one with red, gold, and black color)?? i heard iswara s.e using lotus-tuned suspension system..but i just feel it's soft and comfort on uneven road surface,,but there's a lot of bodyroll when taking corner at higher speed...is it new saga oso using lotus-tune or the lotus things is all BULL :P

the exhaust oso i dunt like...when tarik it really sounds like a low db farting....hehe but i'm driving that iswara s.e for now...cos my kelisa s.e is currently being used by my mom (running-in period oni) and yep the noisy iswara s.e doesnt hv power like the kelisa worr :lol:

Its not la. Only the Satria GTI and the new GEN series cars (SRM, TRM) will have 'lotus engineering technology tuning' la.

haih....my lmst....see also hati sakit la...da bumper and the tail lamp got gap..sagging evryday...rear suspension makin noise...door somethin fall off causin alarm blarin all nite..back seat got kit-kit-kit noise.....den air cond duct fall off....
guys...i wanna ask if i go service and tell all tis problem to them they will fix with no question and no cost involve??
i do my 1st service and they say they have no parts..some shop at sri petalinf.....haizz..den now its time for 2nd service which service center got parts geh???

-the suspension is not the problem..its da springs
-the back seat noise can be eliminated urself..just add some wd40 n adjust the seats..try shaking the seats till there is no more noise..i learned that from eon
-if u go service tell them the exacty problem n they will fix it..its better if u know somebody inside..mostly they repair n change anything unsatisfactable w/o charges

Don't worry...all those problem is fixable one...just file all the complaint the they will fix one by one...but u must got some patience lo. ;) .change part?? i never changed any part...which part u refer too?? :huh:

Which air con duct you mean...issit under steering wheel there one?? that duct is not locked one...might be loose or something la...can put back one...If u think that full blast making too much noise...try to wrap the air con duct with sound dampen stuff...then it will be quiet when u switch on full blast B)


Kit kit kit noise near the backseat??it's caused by the seat joint near the c-pillar...got a metal rod to make the seat in place one...wrap the rod with something instead of leaving metal touching metal.. B)

I only ask proton ppl to fix the door for me because i found it hard to closed the door.. ;)

alignment ar...accept it lar...proton mar...mine also got a bit mis-alignment at front bonnet...go bodywork shop and ask them fix it back lo if got money :lol:

uuhh...won't fall off so easily one lar...proton car is not lousy until that extend la :lol: :lol: ...try to press at the middle of the bumper...under car plate and see whether it moves?? if not i think all screw should be secured la...if obviously got bigger gap...complain to proton lo...ur right of being warranted :ph34r:

i'm a newbie also a lmst user... was wondering why the pickup for my car is horrible... without aircond .. i think i can still accept... but once switch the aircond pickup is ****.... everyone experiencing the same? if lmst extractor is good enough... n still this car has such a bad pickup... i don't know...that's proton i guess....
anyway what else can be done considering extractor is good enough... i've also installed grounding cables...
any cost effective ways to improve pickup?

Hong Thong dude: DUDE.. you want power or you want fuel consumption? Btw, changing your extractors, 15" rims, open pod filter will make your car drink fuel like water man. I think the lmst extractor is already a good 4-2-1 combo so don't change that. Btw, changing to open pod will void your EON warranty, so don't do that either.

If you want to talk about low budget mods, I think these are the things you should consider :

1. Grounding + voltage stabilizer. Price varies, if you have a look around in the forum, there are people selling it at competitive prices. Like Votech (you need to PM them for price, not supposed to reveal price, but it's very competitive) or KHGUAN DIY voltage stabilizer (RM100 + RM10 for the bracket to hold it properly). There's also a DIY grounding kit going for RM56. This will help your ICE and you'll notice the difference in your lights, aircon and in your ICE overall especially bass.

2. Stabilizer bars : I can't remember Ultraracing pricing, but it's a damn good stabilizer bar tho. You might need to adjust the position of some of the things in your car to install this one. Other than that if you get the accessory shop one, it'll cost around 15 to 100 depending on what material it's made of. Don't install it if your car under warranty. Later EON will say car suspension spoiled becuz of this la etc. etc. Trust me on this one.

3. Regularly clean your Throttle body (TB). I think your car has a prob with that. Clean it every 10,000km or so.

4. Buy good tires for good road grip and use lightweight rims like Volk or OZ Racing rims, etc.

Magic Jet good ah? What exactly is it anyway? I don't dare use it in case it's some kind of additive to help combustion.. later it leaves deposit in my engine I die man.

even a cheapo muffler will sound better...

or u got many ICE
maybe u can change to quieter muffler
so that u can enjoy your song more
and not disturb by the noise.,
