If your name not blacklisted, then there is no point to get sambung bayar car. Go get a new car and apply a new loan from the finance. I would say sometimes you can even get 100% loan which means zero deposit.

But if your name is blacklisted, then you pay RM 50K deposit also no finance wants to layan you. Your name is useless, the finance ppl see also they malas want to proceed your loan. So these people have no choice but to look for sambung bayar cars and to pay high deposit to enable to get the car. The second option is to use other person's name to apply the loan.

Sambung bayar cars you can also save on the interest because the installment is shorter compares to getting a new car. If you're smart enough, you can calculate the total amount. Think again wisely then only post the reply here. You might agree with me also.

true enough what danielpv2 said.. but it is illegal to sambung bayar.. at least from the financier point of view. Legally when you decide to let go your car on "sambung bayar" basis you will be in breach of the hire and purchase agreement entered between the financier (owner) and hirer (beneficial owner). when in breach.. the bank can revoke the contract at anytime of its convenience. when the bank decide to revoke the contract the hirer needs to come up with the balance purchase price on the spot. if the hirer cannot come up with the payment there is possibility the hirer may be sued in courts. if the amount is more than 30k the hirer can be adjudged a bankrupt. as simple as that.

furthermore, from my experience.. there is a possibility for the sambung bayar owner to be cheated by those who desperately cannot pay for their monthly installment. the "old" hirer might let the new owner enjoy the new ride for a couple of months. after that zapppp.. the threaten the new owner by saying that if the car is not returned to them they will lodge police report stating that their car had been stolen. real classic case. the new owner has no other choice but to return the car back to the old owner. at this point you might say " haiyaaa ... got agreement maa.. stamping some more..." to all you out there.. such agreement is an illegal agreement. illegal agreement is not enforceable under the law. think before you act.

The legal agreement is done by lawyer la bro. Sent to court for legal stamping summore, agreement is not just a piece of paper, this agreement has 20 pages ++ with all the terms and conditions inside. The new ower and the current ower both need to submit personal particular and details to do this agreement. There is no illegal agreement in our case la, other cases I am not sure la, perhaps they are some out there. The finance is much aware of this agreement and they are the one who gave endoursements.
