imo RM60 is fair price or not, nobody can actually tell why but yourself. Put yourself in his shoe. If you gonna do this job as a living, do you think you want to accept this job for this price? People always say there is a "market price" mah... well there is many market prices for the same job too. So how ah? If one is good he can charge high price, if one is half past six normal price is overcharged. So price for skill is subjective. my 1 cent la..

Well said, brother. Depends on areas even, like mentioned by bro. Lesley. When the shop located, is the shop famous and so on. If think the job is expensive, find another for future job (if any). This job already paid for, even though expensive, what else can be done?....my 2 sens

i have an experience with my olskool ke70

tried diagnosing it myself with diy kampung style...ask friends/ mechanic/ internet... still can't..[2x bateri flat]

then he call wiring guy...check itu ini...gitu gini...wiring got problem...he fixed it..nothing changed

the car stranded 4 almost 2 month

i paid him happily...
in my case rm 30 was sooo cheap for me

Your wireman very high handed (experienced)

Where is his shop?:listen:

Hello, you are not answering my question. I don't care people have to eat or not. We as a customers also have to eat. So, I am ASKING, not ARGUING.

I agree with you bro, I felt that it is quite expensive for me as I see I don't feel that it is very complicated.

Hard one, sometimes the technician don't know how deep is the problem and want to go how far is it for the wiring.. but good idea also bro. thanks

if its not complicated,u shud try to do it den.being sumone who takes care of my cars' myself,i know its not as easy as it looks.60hengget is acceptable imo

Come on la Kenny,

Its not only one customer paying RM30 a day...

If only one customer a day, quickly close shop already no need to wait any longer....:listen:

depends on the problems la....

if small minor problem, i do it FOC only

labor rate in malaysia is not fixed..so hard to judge. it all depends on d problems

unlike oversea, the labor rate is fixed. so can easily judge

Bro. Lesley,
Forums are like that. Someone ask, he/she will get all sorts of views and answers. Just have to decide on his/her own after reading the answers given. Think they are not relevant, forget about them.
Better to make friends then argue and become enemies.....:adore:

Out of topic a bit, talking of Milo, the price keeps on increasing:banghead: but the taste is like shit compared to 20-30 years ago. I don't know whether they really put shit inside.

temerloh..heheh

Too far for me leh...

My number plates light not lighted, first i asked the accessories shop guy to change the bulb, he opened up pull here, shake there, now both my plate bulbs not lighted...

He wanted to open my front bonnet to check the fusebox but i said to him enough is enough!

You never know....

Next he will say the on board computer is not working!

Bad expereince with this accessories shop!:banghead:

That is because the cost of Milo itself has gone sky high, so what they do is to increase price first, then when that also too high already, they reduce the content, means less Milo powder.....:banghead:

Check fuse can do on your own. Open fuse box and read the cover, will show what fuse for what. Just pull out and check, and if fused replace with fuse of correct amp......

Yes i know...

But the problem is...

Front under the bonnet also got fuse box,

Rear at the side mudguard also got fuse box...

I'd rather not touch it...

Feel more secured if i leave it to the experienced specialist wireman.....

Front in engine compartment usually main fuses. Fuse box under the dash, is the one to check first.
I used to be afraid too, then every time service car, stay at mechanic place, see what they do, help around and steal some knowledge.....ha! ha!

I heard this story from a 2K car respray boss....

He did a total respray of the latest BMW 750i L recently...

As its a total inside and outside respray, he dismantle the power windows wires and such...

After finishing the job the car cannot start...

After troubleshooting the specialist diagnose that the entire program of the computer of the car is erased...

Do you know how much it cost to reprogramme again the entire computer system?

(Its a 5 figure cost my fren !):smokin::smokin::smokin:
