Hi everyone,
I'm driving a proton saga lmst 2005. recently, my rear, stock absorbers has failed. i plan to change into an aftermarket sports absorbers but i cant really decide which one because the choices are plenty. i don't carry heavy loads, willing to sacrifice comfort for better performance. i'm also using rims with 205/45/16 tires. since the design of my rear wheel arch is flat, i worry using lowering spring will cause my tires to scrape the rear fender. hence i plan only to change to sports absorbers. my choices are currently these:

- Monroe Sensatrac ( http://www.lelong.com.my/proton-saga-iswara-monroe-shock-absorber-sensatrac-front-rear-M091664398-2007-01-Sale-I.htm )

- Pro Ride Sport ( PRO-RIDE SUSPENSION SYSTEM: Proton ABSORBER )

- GAB SA Series ( http://www.lelong.com.my/gab-sa-series-absorber-proton-perodua-hondatoyota-rm580-set-X273457-2007-01-Sale-I.htm )

I've also come across something new such as RGT Sports Tuned Absorber ( http://www.mudah.my/RGT+SPORTS+TUNED+Absorber+Proton+Saga+Iswara-7066369.htm )

Jasma Absorbers ( http://www.zerotohundred.com/newfor...4281-jasma-high-performance-absorber-new.html ) offer very long warranty but i can't really find user comments so far. But im open to any suggestions here.

Hopefully all of you with all your exp can help me. Thank you all for your help.

i will suggest
GAB - for performance, although abit hard, but confident when attacking those virgin corners :)
Monroe - more for comfort than performance
Pro Ride - sucks, tend to sag after 2 yrs.
jasma - same as pro ride. haha.

i shall certainly contact mr.hugo. anyway, why is that GAB warranty varies? most GAB comes with 6 month warranty but i came across one with 1 year warranty, from RS One.

RS is MY authorised distributor.
others are resellers.

are u willing to pay 30% more for that extra 6 mths?

hmmm... thats true also. why pay more for the same product? anyway, i hav heard that mines is very similar to GAB but are very cheap. what is your opinion sir?

if its brand new, the chances of the suspension failing within the 1st year is very low.
im not sure bout mines, as there are lotsa immitations in the market.
if u want cheap & reliable, go for GAB, hotbits or HWL.

thank you. since i have about 2 weeks plus before i change my absorbers, i'll try my best to get more info on these. as for now, my 1st choice is still GAB SA absorbers.

no prob bro,
good luck to u.
get more details on the product 1st

sure thing. will let u all know when im finally gonna change it. till then, any input is always welcomed.

HWL height adjustables are very similarly priced to GAB absorbers + GAB lowering springs. any advice for me on this one?

heard GAB with AVCS is more comfortable and not so hard...
but me myself never tried GAB adjustable...huhuhu!

Anybody here tried Mines.Gab absorbers yet? Is it from the same company as Gab? and hows the ride?
