Garmin Mobile XT In Your Car

Hello peeps,
Need some help here.
I've installed the Garmin into my mobile and I'm unable to get my unit ID.
May I know how do you get your unit ID?
After I choose the language and stuff, then it comes to a screen which have 4 options
- Purchase & Go!
- Begin Free Trial
- Enter Product Key
- Connect to a Garmin GPS
I've tried all 4 of them and still couldn't get my unit ID.
The option "Connect to a Garmin GPS" do have the unit ID but there is also a displayed IMEI number which is not the IMEI of my mobile. Tried generating a key from that IMEI but still doesn't work.
Tried "Begin Free Trial" and it kept attempting to contact Garmin to begin free trial period and failed.
Please help! I'm using Nokia E90. Thanks! :(

1. the 10-digits IMEI number GARMIN software generated is not the same phone IMEI (phone IMEI is 15-digits).

2. Your GARMIN screen should have 2 set of 10-digit number under "ABOUT" (i can't really recall which screen). Try both, but it should be the 2nd number on the screen.

3. Ensure you generate the SW.UNL file (not SW.UNL.TXT) and put it under GARMIN folder in your E90.

Yeah,BlackSamurai is exactly right..please launch garmin..click on settings.Click "About" get your id from there.

Just copy the redlight and speedtrap files into your phone memory card..

Path E:/Garmin/POI..then open your garmin on ur phone..

to check it go to tools>>manage my data>>custom poi sets>>status installed

to activate it go to tools>>settings>>proximity points>>enable custom poi>>audio notification>>continuous all alert..

for vehicle..just create Vehicle folder in your phone..

Path E:/garmin/Vehicle/your car

enjoy it..

Thanks for your reply.
Where do u go to get into that screen?
I can only go to 'About' if I choose 'Connect to Garmin GPS'.
Which it shows 2 sets of 10digits number.
One is IMEI and another is IMSI.
I couldnt get in to 'Begin trial version' cause it wll always prompt me to access the internet.
Even if I allowed it, the connection to Garmin site will still fail.

Bingo! That's the screen, both IMEI and IMSI are 10 digits number (if I'm not mistaken), try the IMEI number first, generate the SW.UNL

if failed, then use the IMSI to generate the number.

bro, your problem seems to be a fresh one...you might to consider re-installing the application and see how if it works and follow the instruction all over again.
