I changed my mivec rack with a evo ones. Its really responsive since i need to turn less, but as it reach higher speed, it is too sensitive of a steering movement, so i was wondering, is it normal? well i have an idea but seek some advice, i was thinking of getting:
1. electric power steering pump
2. switches that allows to on/off the power steering pump.
I am looking forward to the following result
1. Auto switch off after exceeding 50km/h (add torque since 1 belt is loose)
2. Firm steering wheel feeling at 120km/h and above.
3. Manual switch off/on during traffic. (saves fuel since i don't need turn on bumper to bumper)
My concern
1. will it be too heavy to turn since hydraulic oil is in the casing.
2. will the electric pump pulls to much current for my system to support (my engine is 1.6 MIVEC running on 195/50 R15)
3. will this idea actually works?

Opinion is very much welcome! thanks
