Guys,
Anyone know where i can get my driveshaft rebuild?

My waja RH driveshaft is worn out and i have replaced it with aftermarket brand but it vibrates..I claim warranty and the replacement shaft still vibrate but only slightly. The shop did warn me earlier to go for original replacement but its way to expensive for a driveshaft at 600++. They said they have similar customer feedback on aftermarket shaft for 1.8 model. Aftermarket brand is 200++.
below is the pic of my driveshaft..the outer part is similar with most driveshaft but the inner rubber boot design is kinds different.

I dont want to spend so much on this car. i know it can be rebuild but i dont know where. pls someone guide me.

if you can't get a recommendation for your area,
Btw, drive shaft repair is just disassemble, spot weld sikit gosok gosok sahaja. Dont expect miracle
agreed, it's crude but pretty much how the engineering shops recon the clicking cv joint, just by adding metal

Thanks for the replies.
Confirmed its the driveshaft. cars vibrates violently when accelerating between 90kmh to 110kmh. I changed it once last week but it vibrates in a different manner. Removed the shaft and discover that the new shaft is longer by almost an inch ( silly me for not checking the length before installing ). The shop change to another unit. This time it vibrate a lot less but its still there. Shop did mentioned they will refund if problem still there.

BTW i am in Melaka.

I tot driveshaft rebuild is that they change whatever moving components in the joints?

Maybe finding a used driveshaft from a chop shop is better? Waja driveshaft is abundant I think, and chop shop also have warranty.

Oh..never now that. Do you know how does the rubber boot for the inner joint is secured? normally it uses a metal clip.mine is somewhat secure inside.
Your's probably crimped on the inside. Shouldnt matter much if crimped outside or inside, so long as it's the correct length and it fits.

Guess what, 2 days ago i got kluk2 noise from my drivetrain and after checking at a shop they said its the driveshaft (driver side). Its very noticeable.
On my way home i notice the knocking is stronger when i accelerate but will disappear if i turn the steering at certain angle or at very low speed.

Last night i remove the shaft and discover that the inner boot is torn. Other than that i cannot feel any excessive play. Since the rubber boot is torn and i assume dirt got into it and damaged the joints i went and get a new one today.

After installing i went for a test drive and the problem is still there. Its will disappear at certain steering angle and at low speed.Sometimes when not under load (acceleration) it does not knock. The shock it produce is like when we run over the metal reflective thing on the road but sharper knock. BTW i havent done the allignment.

When comparing the new shaft and the old one i notice the new one is slightly longer. Then again, the inner joint can slide in and out right?

I am starting to think its the gearbox but if it is then the problem should not disappear at low speed or certain steering angle as the gearbox still spins regardless.

What do u guys think?
New part does not fit properly?

Yours seems to be a different problem. Usually the outer joint makes noise and it starts with full turn (initial) and gradually gets laouder with slight turn (as it gets more worn). Yours only at certain angle and not always....

This is pretty basic which I'm sure you've already checked - but have you replaced the ball joints and bushes on the arms and all?

Hi, im planning to get a bucket or semi bucket seat for my ride(wira) and would like to know how to pick one and what else i need alongside the seat. Im kinda clueless about this and hopefully someone could guide my things that i would need in completing this setup.

Afaik(i might be wrong), i need a seat, base, and the railing. Im not sure what kinda seat, railing, and base should i get and where to get it from. Hope someone could shine a light on this. Thank you.
