Can Myvi 1.5 fit 205/50/16 Michelin PS4? without much compromise

205/50/16 is a bit too big. Stick with 15' but use 195/55/15 because it's more comfortable and more common size, then use Hankook V12 Evo 2, the best value for money tires now rather than PS3. Price only rm165/pc but performance is at least as good if not better than PS3 in the dry. I'm using that tire now for my son's Swift Sport.

I'm not saying PS4 bad la. Just that even driving slow when in the wet and dry, there is a difference in the way the tyres felt. I personally feel the PS3 is the superior tyre for everyday usage. But for performance wet driving and all that, i know the PS4 is better. But for the same size PS3 vs Re003, PS3 laaaaaaaaaaaaaa

That is because PS3 is less sporty and softer than PS4 hence you feel PS3 is nicer to drive for daily. PS4 is designed to bring back the more aggressive sporty characteristic closer to PSS.

PS3 for the win

At first want to purchase on PS3. Since my dad aveo i changed to PS3 on dec 16. But the price diff cannot afford since my budget is tight. The cheapest for 195/55R15 is RM 240 i can get.

So just purchased first V12 evo2. Hopefully next tire change afford to jump back on PS3 like what i did on my dad's car. Currently priority is to get the 15 inch first lol

it is worth it. testing on north plus highway. cruising about 130km/h - 140km/h. it is so nice feeling & please with v12 evo2. just feeling drawback on taking when started to steer the steering on corner with that speed. feel sligh vibration but not much. plan on maybe to mill the myvi advance rim to 56.6mm and put center cone (my other can center bore is 56.6mm - so i can swap the tires among both car). i expected the rim not fit nicely in the center hub as already added 7mm spacer (coz i dont think the center hub depth not sufficient to fit the rim with the additional of 7mm spacer).

re003 is about rm 185 to 195 incl all

v12 evo2 should be rm 175 to rm 185

ps3 is better in dry than ps4... thats all...

its just a matter of balance between wet, dry, noise and comfort in tyre design....

its just up to you if u able to live with lesser performance on 1 side but with massive gain in other side... (grip wet-dry noise-comfort)

With this pricing, forget it just get the PS3. Tutup mata no need to think.
