Hi guys,

My EK left side previous got accident & after repairing now I realize that the left tyres is nearer to the side skirt but driver side tyres is more far to side skirt. When measure front left side tyres to rear left side, tyres measurement is 117.25ft but when measure front right side tyres to rear right side tyres, measurement is 117.75ft.

Which mean left side is shorter length than right side about 15cm. When normal driving straight & normal corner roads in town, dont feel any difference.

Just wondering if I track in SIC, will it be very difference?

I have tried to ask ppl to tarik back the chasis abit to make it left side length same with ride side & change lower arm as well. But in 3 weeks time, it back to the same problem.

Anyone can give some info & input on this? Hope you guys know what I am trying to say...

i had the same issue once after i whack a rock on the road...

they pumped back the arm or something like that... did it once... fixed for good...

but actually they recommended to change... so check ur arm...see if its bent

better change your lower arm.. there's many of them at the junkyard

I have tarik d chasis abit & also change both lower arm when I change the tie rod but still d same problem.

A alighment guy told me it's ok for 15cm difference as long as the alightment done & adjust back & when press pedal the car wont go one side, that's ok already....Is it true? :hmmmm:

hello?mind if i ask if u did any typo?15cm is helluva ALOT,wei!hahaha...1.5cm is it?of u meant 2 type 15mm?
n i seriously think u shudn't listen 2 dat alignment guys,UNLESS dat problem w d chasis is beyond repair,hence need 2 make adjustment thru all d camber,caster & toe setting.....
shud get a good bodyshop n show them d problem....watever can b fixed,SHOULD b fixed....especially if it involves handling n u actually plan 2 bring d car into SIC.u dun 1na pay RM300 n thn find out ur car can't handle in SIC,right?
cheers

15cm or 15mm

:hmmmm:

15mm, if it's just bushes, you're lucky, if not, looks like time to get some chassis work done.
