Neova AD07 sucks big time during wet. It prone to aqua-planning. Just slow down when it is wet.

drive like normal at 120km/h then suddenly spin oh?? sometime i drove at 120-140kmh, but very careful to control the steering and avoid water hole cos i cant estimate how deep it was, might skid if run over it... but so far so good leh... next time i must be more careful liao...

to be frank to all tyre for the sack of fair, all tyre prone to hydro-planning if we speeds across water puts. the matter is how fast we drive, there are tyre that claimed to be good in wet condition might disappoint you if you does not avoid the water puts.

Actually, many people told me that ad07 sucks on wet, however when i read those foreign magazine and those test they made to compare the performance of ad07, surprisingly that it aint that bad... even achieve faster track time compare to those eagle F1, only lose to R1R, and CSC2... which one is the fact??

that is why I buang my Neova and went for Toyo T1-R. many say T1-R not good in wet based on thread, but they didnt know it was created for rain and only for rain. dry better than my Potenza. But none can beat my bro's Direzza. too bad dont have 15".

foreign view cannot be use in malaysia la, even the tyre maybe actually not that bad though the road design and condition in malaysia definitely suck, always create pond during rain, whos the engineer for the road.... aiyoyoooo... yes its the famous guy..hehe

lucky we didnt hav winter here. if do, donno wat happen le..

It happened to me on wet too wt Neova. Nearly lost control at a bend, luckly did correction to catch it back if not i would be have crash to the rails. I was doing 100kph, it was also my mistake for taking at such speed during raining day.

Alot of review i read that neova is good in wet compare to eagle f1 n the new adrenalin. It must be some guys from the company trying to push the product. But what i can say is tat, on dry the tire works well but not on wet. Wet I guess the safest is to drive slow, below 100kmh. Every tire will have problem handling rain condition.

cheers

I am not very familiar with nissan car, is ur car front wheel drive / rear wheel drive? as far as i know, RWD car tend to skid if speeding on wet.

how sharp is the turn while u entering the corner?
we can look at few factors in ur case happened, could the the tread, could be aqua-planning,could be the got oil on the road surface.few factors can be considered

i m using ad07 as well, i joined the HPC event on 22 april 07 when that time my tyres were less than 2 months old. during the event, rain was pouring like mad and the afternoon session had to stop for a while.

considering the amount me n my frends had to pay for the fees, close one eye we whacked the track like nobody business.surprisingly the neova perform well.the only time i spun was at turn 12 where i had to emergency brake while cornering because got one car spun earlier in front

for my assumption, could be the tires were stil considered new (same to my friends) it was stil ok to perform in wet.those running in st215 and r888 had more difficult time.

i've never speed on wet condition on normal road coz worry the consequences may be severe.

my advice, we should watch our speed (entering corner) during wet. after-effect may not be very nice.

-drive safe-

i'm using Direzza DZ101, kinda good in Dry & Wet...but to be honest, AD07 is slightly more better in Dry compare to it...i'm using 215-50-15....

now, aim for Potenza RE-01R, coz just test my fren's car with the same size, the grip on dry & wet is really better than AD07 & DZ101. too bad, the price is tooooo expensive...:hmmmm:
