The cool thing about tuners is there's almost nothing that cant be tuned to be better than what it already is. But to perfect a car like a Lamborghini is no easy feat, that's why potential customers almost always stick to a brand they are familiar with, like AMG, BRABUS, Alpina, and you get the picture. But here's a relatively unknown tuner with a special edition masterpiece, the Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni edition.
You can be forgiven to be slightly skeptical of the German tuner, but it's a typical case of "if you have never heard of it, it doesn't mean it's not good". The portfolio of Anderson Germany includes tuning work done on some of the most prestigious cars today, cars like the Bentley Brooklands, Audi R8, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and other models from BMW, Mercedes and others. So these are guys who know what they're doing.
The tuner started off with hiking up the power output from 550hp to 590hp to the rear wheels, no specifics were given on how this was achieved. The Germans also fitted a new exhaust system with remote-controlled butterfly valves that allows the driver to adjust the sound levels according to the occasion.
A tuners job never ends at a mere power increase, aesthetics are equally as important as any other aspect of the ride. So personalizing the Balboni are new 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/30 R20 tires up front and 305/25 R20 at the rear. Inside, Anderson has re-trimmed the seats, door panels and steering wheel with new leather contrast and floor mats.
If that doesn't do it for you, the company is willing to customize everything according to your specifications. 590hp to the rear wheels in a package that looks this good, who cares if tuners sometime go overboard with their work, it's because of their creativity do we get cars this gorgeous and powerful.
