the 4alc is a 1.6 liter motor that was offered in the ae-82 83-87 toyota corollas
it makes a little under 90 hp but gets amazing mpg

plus my supra is killing me on gas lol
thats what i get for having a 12 sec car........... o well

my accelerator pump is shot and i the diaphram is also shot so either a rebuild kit or i just get one from a running car.

yeah i just found this forum.
im very active over on celicasupra.com

Supra eh? I seem to be more intrested in that rather than the 4a-lc hahaha. Why not convert it to efi? Maybe a 4age or something... over here I doubt we got 4a-lc's

Haha I doubt that a 4age would be a heavy drinker. How much can a 1.6 drink anyway?
7mge? Which gen of supra you driving anyway?...

oh! 4a-lc is single cam....maybe easier to try a weber DCNF downdraft carb.

for your celica...suggest upgrading to the 2JZ-gte...apparently more durable!

Hmm... then again, who converts their 4age's to webers nowadays? Hahaha  Really? Then maybe I should consider going for dcnf, its downdraft right the dcnf?

DCNF....as a replacement carb(for 4a-lc) I think its pretty good and may even be cheaper than stock carbs...that is if you can find them!

4age i think came fuel injected....ah but the sound of a screaming dcoe engine with ram pipes...its something to experience!!! hahaha

here is a link:Which is the right Weber is for me????

1JZ: Haha you arrr, throw away the 4age's Efi for DCOE's . Im a big fan of side drafts also so thats my plan for my car, however if I had a 4age i'd probably take the 4 throttles from the silver/blacktop then install it.

In other words the celica supra huh? People here usually go for a JZ swap immediately though

Yeah I know where the 7m came from, the 3rd gen. Youre using the gte or just a ge?
