Need to change my 195/55/15 tyres soon. Read that the C Drive had good reviews but unfortunately I called up 3 shops and found out that it is not available. Is this model still in production? So my other option is to go for A Drive. What I want to know is the difference between A & C Drive and where is it available.

don't used A but used C , u can compare the different both tyre pattern..... A-drive not good in a rain and connering but C-drive is superb , I used C-drive and I try max 140km at the highway in heavy rain still can control. The price also not so expensive around rm185 - rm195 only..... u can get it at any dealer shop , last time I buy at Klang. If money is not a problem try used yokohama advanced Neova around rm250 or Toyo tyres around rm280.

By the way ventus V12 also a good tyre , it's less a bit from yoko C-drive......

i suggest adrive R1...for me very good tyre..paired this tyres with front running RE001 and rear adrive R1..no problem at all in high speed cornering..never oversteer even in sepang and touge with this tyres..no problemo..for daily drive i think still ok if using adrive R1..if got extra budget will suggest u to go for RE001(made in jipun) or T1R..

have seen many luxury cars using cdrive but didnt intend to try it myself..

There are A-Drive (AA-01) Symmetric pattern A-Drive (AR-01) Directional pattern and C-Drive (AC-01) Asymmetric pattern.
AA-01 is entry level Yokohama, AR-01 is economy sports, and AC-01 is comfort performance.
If going for C-Drive look for C-Drive 2 which is already out.....

There is also the S-Drive (AS-01) Directional Sports tyres.....

S-Drive last time got at RM250 per pc, but long ago. C-Drive 2 should be an improvement.
If looking for 195/55/R15, value for money should be Hankook V12Evo.
If can afford a little more then Michelin PS3 is the one to go for. Currently should be at RM260 per pc., but still can find certain shops selling at RM240

If S-Drive 195/55/R15 is priced at RM350, can forget it. That is really overpriced. Michelin PS3 at RM260 already expensive.
Korean tyres are priced competitively, that is why they are value for money, but you have to gauge what your priorities are.
C-Drive is combination of comfort and performance and should be more quiet but they are made in the Philippines.
Hankook V12Evo is UHP category and directional patterned and may be more noisy. Grip is good in both wet and dry.
Advan Neova is different category again, These are extreme tyres for outright dry. Hard and bumpy too. AD-07 have been discon. Now is AD-08 and heard the price is super expensive. If S-Drives are at RM350, expect them to be in the RM400 region.

Any JB brothers here can comment? I don't know whether bro. azbro is here in ZTH or not, but he is in Autoworld forum and is from JB. Other alternative is to order from Quicksave and ask him to send it down to you. Done by some members in AW.
