I would like to know your opinion on this setup on EK model :

1) B16B Type R change Block to B20B ( Standard on engine )

2) B18CType R With Stroker Kit 2.0

3) K20A ( Standard engine )

if u talking about standard form, i believe k20a better...
but if u talking about major mods done to B-series vs K20a standard then i think b-series can have a better side.
if talking about potential n cost factor, both b-series and k-series oso got a lot potential for mods but when come into cost factor, b-series definitely cheaper n easy to get.

hmm... have you seen K20A conversion on eg/ek before??

How does it sound? I think there is no vtec bukak anymore in K20A right??

How about 4 throtle on B18C Type R??

Can beat B16B with upgrade to B20B block??

Anyone know??

wonder no one in malaysia can custom make the mountings for k20/24 to be mount on eg/ek? most i've seen only hasport n the price.....:mouth_closed:

yar lor...aluminium billet..not that difficult to custom...our engineering workshop also can do..provided with hasport mount for "tiru" purpose..:X-:

If B20B and K20A both standard on same chasis, i think both will stand chance. Don forget K20A has 6 speeds gearbox. I think stock B20B should have higher torque and whp, not sure. My fren got a very stock K20A EK hatchback here, who is willing to test with their stock B20B EK hatchback?

if budget is not an issue then i choose no.3 :)

its still costly for the hybrid.
-halfcut alone (halfcut shop )
-custom extractor for the chosen body (order)
-hasports mounts (order)
-maybe hasports axle (order)
-upgrade to k-pro hondata (available in JC/AMOIL)
