:o I having problem wif my waja brake pump n the calliper, is anything can mode. better braking performance??
I hear b4 got ppl mode. vr4 brake pump n twin pot calliper-(dun know what kind of calliper?) :P
Isit works in my waja? I had an accident b4 bcos of my car brake problem, can any1 help me to solve this problem?

Perhaps changing to a better brake pads and steel braided brake hose can improve the braking system?

proton brakes are crap. a lot of things can be done to make good braking system. For cheap solution, like what acbc said. At the end it is still using the proton brake system.

I think evo twin pot fits easily. coz they are running the same pcd. Change the master is another good alternative. If got money striaght go for 4 pot lah. nice looking and great braking. Just my 2 cents.

FTO brakes are best for a Waja... chopshop can get around 1.5k i guess...

Better brake pad sure can improve the braking...but steel braided brake hose dont,it just for more long lasting only....

i think for a normal Waja fit a evo twin pot caliper is enough already...
if go for 4 pot,i think a bit waste for a normal waja...
y dun take the $ to mod other stuff... :)

i think if 4 pot the braking power too strong, straight away the wheels lock. ahhahah then hailat.

I beg to differ!

OEM rubber hoses do expand upon heavy braking while steel braided ones don't.

Expansion = less braking power / feel.

Now, don't you think that by preventing hose expansion, braking will also improve?

OKKK!!
bro. i suggest u buy EVO3 or V6tt twin pot break.
it cost only 350-450. (chop shop).
u dont need drill a now hole. can fit-fit instal into waja.
cos EVO1,2,3 n V6tt wheel size are same.
all 4 hole 114.3.
so cheap right?
dont need but thousand above disc break.

if u dont 1, u also can go for NISSAN car 4 port disc break. it is more cheaper than mitsubishi 4 port disc.
cos same, as soon as u buy 4 port. no matter mitsubishi or nissan, u also need to drill now hole.

ok. latest update. i just finish installing 4 pot into my wira.

result, damn stim man. super smooth. not like what you all think. fly out of window and all. pedal feels very smooth. stopping distance have been shorten a lot. disc is big, so locking the tyres are difficult.

highly recommended. only problem is rim clearance for the caliper. use spacer loh. but no regrets. for now only 4 pot + evo pump. steel braided hose later. hope this would help. thank you for reading.

Same as those convertion car... u can put in a vr4 single or twin port/gsr brake system into ur waja. Just plug and play coz the pcd are the same. Price around RM300-450 at hfcut shop.

Very responsive to compare to standard braking system, but just hafta worry about the price of the brake pads coz it's more expensive than standard....

i'm using VR4 twin port in my iswara.... twin port is just enough because,it's no need to modified too much thing... if u choose to use a 4 port nissan, u need to modified tapak caliper... i suggest u buy EVO3 or V6tt twin pot break. and u need to change the servo also....
and result...>>>no regret

waja brake will produce a lot of powder....do u all have any idea to stop the powder???

actually any upgrade (twin or four pot) brakes will be anytime better than proton originals. I took 4 pot because i like big disc and caliper mah. hehehe.

4 pot a bit hassle lah. But you only need to do it once. the only problem is rim clearance lah.

No need to change to 4 pot la fren, unless of course ur running on turbo. For the waja if u change the brake hose it would have very little impact coz the whole brake system is good enuf already. Invest on some good rotors like DBA & better brake pads- EBC / Mintex.
