Miata was designed to fit into the niche market where Lotus Elan, MGB, MG Midget, etc. used to fill, which was essentially what the term 'sportscar' meant to most people.

Are there any Miata clubs or workshops in KL? Any of you guys here own a Miata? Heard of RS Aizawa?

Wow that's excellent. Must have been the all American influence, afterall the RX-7 styling was geared towards the US market and they had the most sales... Well deserved I reckon given its leading handling, performance & styling!@
