I am lookin for a gearbox that will last...Now I have broken 3 gearboxes and 1 longshaft this year. Only 1 i CAN FIND IS DONE BY PPG AUSTRALIA costing me RM 30,000 approximately. Also titanium or carbonfibre shaft only from America. So if anyone can tell me where i can find something similar that can take the horsepower ?

How can a gearbox just broke like that? driver any problem? .. 450ps is just to high if u consider for daily driving, maybe improper setup on gearing engage? 4G63T 4WD gearing at speed makes trouble gearing which causes dead transmission easily. Mine oso now giving problem, im running GSR final driven 2 cone, 1.5 boost 4WD...

Anyway wat u planning to get? "speedDog engagement sets" ? tat unit is nearly RM35k include shipping buddie !

try get Invecs from VR4 4WD, which may cost on less RM10k for used or seek some from Thailand .. more cheap ..


P/S: Can gimme ure car spec? interested in some mods buddie :) .. thnx

PM zackdiablio. He has sequential tranny that is new. Supposed to be used in his drag car. going for 23k if i am not mistaken.

My car specs....heheheh roughly

for ur info...dynoed 455 hp on wheel.
Ecu Motec M400. JE pistons, ported and polished in Perth, Hks Fuel rail, Different cam, roller bearing turbo,billet crank...and a few walbro fuel pumps etc etc. all in all cost me too much money.And just to find evo boxes can handle the power and shafts goes bust too. so not much chance to run a drag now and i ll have to pick up gearbox pieces and shaft on the track.
Off track...ferrari beater...1 HR 30 mins toll toll KL to tuas.
