recond is250 with gps,how to get MY map

So no solution for this yet? I am getting my IS next week. If someone can get the MY MAP DVD, maybe we can figure it out together..

all you guys are owning a recon (uk/jpn) specs ?

Hey all,

I'm planning to import my IS250 from UK to Brunei, so I guess I will end up having the same problems as you guys

If it helps anyone here who has got hold of the Malaysia DVD, I had to disconnect my battery before I managed to get a 'non-official' updated UK map to work

I think the nav system had been given a software update by the dealer which prevented it from reading copied or non-official disks.

When you open the bonnet and disconnect the car battery for 1 minute, the car loses this software update and it's reset to stock.

I then did the following to get the copied disk to work:
- reconnect battery
-turn on ignition
- insert official UK disk
- wait for navigation screen to load
- eject UK disk
- insert copied disk

Maybe someone could try this with the Malaysia disk and report back whether it works?
