POPULAR MECHANICS, the most famous US automobile magazine which recently celebrated its 100 anniversary, took two years to test Tufoil.

This heading appeared in their Jan 1982 issue:

" A super-slick oil additive that works! " There are lots of slick oils on the market, but we've found one that does what it promises.

" There was an increase of 10.3% ( fuel economy ) - absolutely spectacular "

" Tufoil works. It didn't clog the oil filter, didn't leak out all the gaskets, didn't thin out at high speeds. It stayed in dispersion and cut the fuel bill 10%. "

Let us all ZTH members just put our minds on this.

If all cars on the road were to have a bottle of Tufoil in their engines and if we can accept the authencity, integrity and motoring authority of a 100 year old magazine like POPULAR MECHANICS, then there will be a 10% drop in petrol sales at the pumps overnight.Mr. Franklin Reick has been in the forefront of this.

Of course, not all will be happy with this. The " char kueh tiau " fella when he loses 10% sales a night, he will be in bad mood and start to scold everyone that crosses his path. But we are now talking of dwindling world resources and the emergence of powerful corporations. Very profit driven and also very sales driven. The more cars on the road the better. But what is going to happen to our world? A 200 bhp Skyline now moves slower than a tortoise in the Jalan Sultan Ismail area.Besides, petrol prices will climb and climb. Hence, in the long run, ZTH members, we are all losers.

Anybody, wants to add, subtract, multiply or divide something like in elementary school?

Apologies, this should not be here. It should be under FEATHERLITE Auto Polish thread. No idea how it got here.

Mr. Lonely78, 2 days ago when my significant other half's car came out of a workshop, we found some scratches as if it was done by a cat. Just put a small quantity over the swirls and rub it for a minute or two using a completely dry cloth.

Of course if the swirls are too deep, nothing in this world will be of help. For if you succeed in getting rid of the swirls, even the lacquer and the paintwork may be gone for good. Hope you understand this.

Rgds.

Tufoil is one of the few established products including gadgets tested by POPULAR MECHANICS magazine that saves fuel.

Hi guys!

Anyone had ever think, tried or done.. shorten your car's stock gear shift rod like most of the supercars had?
For impressive sporty interior looking purpose, it's very damn chun lar. Can it be done ah?

I know that we can simply cut a few centimetres of the shift rod to make it shorter. But then, just wondering where can we do re-threading (screw-thread) on the top of the shift rod to place the gear knob back?

Anyone got the idea of how to make it done? Mind to share your...
