I'm driving a 1997 proton perdana 2.0L, any idea what can be done to reduce the pertrol consumption?
try to use high flow air filter to get more air, make sure intake manifold are owes free from oil/carbon.... to ensure u get enuf air.

use better spark plug with correct heat range, city driving/normal drive use hotter plug. this to reduce the carbon deposited in ur plugs n combustion chamber. high revving n modded engine use colder plug. sdo ur plug wont meld coz of too hot.

electrical system, ensure ur car running at sufficient voltage/curent so ur car sensors n ecu can perform efficiency n effectively...this wil effect fc as well

combustion chamber hv to be clean so tat the carbon will not stuck inside...

if u r running at mineral oil, try to upgrade it to semi syn based. will helps oso :)

if ur ride is auto, check atf as well.

my2cent n do correct me if im wrong.

over inflation also causes uneven tyre wear. XD

the best way to save fuel is to drive "properly" and get a lower cc car like me! LOL
