perhaps stay away from both?
both has no resale value and may be xpensiv parts
stick back to Exora or Grand Lavina

I'm also looking for an MPV to replace my matrix...
My eyes glued to Chery Eastar... got the connection like when I bought my matrix last 5 years..

Currently considering a few other factors before making the shot...

Cheers!

I would go for Chevy Eastar. Bigger than Citra and I think it looks better too.
With a proper bodykit add on, Chevy Eastar can be a very nice car.

My fren is driving the Citra 2.0 and he is not really happy with it.
To him is lack of power and the power is a bit laggy. But best to test
drive both cars and compare cuz I'm not really familiar with Chevy's
car performance or quality..

But like they say, it has no resale value.

I also saw an article in newspaper saying that the Exora Turbo is coming.

kelisa, i think you can still wait for a while. I wouldn't get a used Citra nor the Easter. Exora would be a more preferable one.

Citra spare parts price is not cheap.
Cherry on the other hand don't know how good is the after sales service plus parts availably.

It says 2011 but actual month they didn't mentioned....the article even stated that the new MyVi is coming, new facelift CKD Camry, and a few other cars which I can't remember all...

most probably the exora turbo is a low boost turbo while maintaining the ori internal of NA on the original exora.. after that proton might do offers for a turbo upgrade package to be sold as an ad on for previous exora model..

I choose other made car because one two thing...one is the interest rate and also the money we pay for the CC...

First of all...our local car interest rate I higher then others...the amount u pay u can get higher cc...

kelisa6009,

chery eastar: if can stay away from it, the new engine is very noisy and the whole car finishing is very poorly done up. only the outlook attract ppl.

naza citra: much better than eastar, power is sufficient coz its a 2.0 engine. finishing and fitting i would say good...only resale value bit low.

exora: rm71k for a 1.6 auto full 7 seater car with abs, airbag and bodykit

alza: nice design, attractive and selling 63k only. but its a 5+2 seaters....

i suggest u go with yr family and make a full load test drive and experience it yourself on each car before u decide anything...cheerz
