The Renault Megane Renaultsport 250 is one of the hottest hot hatches around right now, causing many a Honda Civic Type-R and Volkswagen Golf GTI to sweat their oil pans when one pops up in their rear-view mirrors. With 250hp from its turbocharged inline four, it’s the most powerful after all.

Now Renault have gone and upped the power a little to give us the megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy, the fastest ever road-going Renault. As the name suggests, power has been bumped up by 15hp to give it a total of 265 ponies. It will be quite the exclusive hot hatch as well with only 500 units set to be made.

The extra power quickens the century sprint time to 6 seconds flat, a tiny improvement over the 6.1 seconds of the standard version. Top speed also gets a slight bump up from 251km/h to 254km/h. We’ll be lucky if we get to see any here on our roads but if it makes things any better, we’re in the midst of coming up with a three-way comparison between the Megane Renaultsport 250 and two of its chief rivals.

Driveshaft for 1.3/1.5 protons

Hi All,

I'm planning to change my driveshaft, not only that, i wanna change the full set alone.

Ok, i don't know what is that called.

Assuming the driveshaft alone is on the right, in the middle is the steel rod, and on the left is also similar like driveshaft but is not.

The reason why I want to change is that, there is this 'kling kling' sound even when driving on straight road, i suspect is the steel rod or the one inside. There is no 'tak...
