this is a good technology but the tank should be in as when collision, it may explode. If use CNG tank, it is much safer. Overall more convenient when travel outstation.

hi Ruhaz,

sorry to be rude here but really, this kind of setup endanger everyone around the vehicle when collision happen.
If you're trying to promote alternative fuel here, go by appropriate procedures and most importantly, safety should come before everything.
LPG vehicle by itself, has been around for long long time. Use suitable LPG tank and you should be very safe, but the problem of refilling the LPG.

Perniaga terbunuh tangki gas van meletup
Nov 8, 08 4:36pm

that's what happen in bolehland when MacGyver pump 200bar of CNG into tong gas that can withstand maybe 20bar.

kesian that guy but there are too many ppl who do not know much about CNG that are jumping into the business or doing stupid experment and become a threat to others' safety on the road.

yeah, better not using cooking gas canister for your car. The guy in the new posted above is so young and died a horrible way. His whole torso and leg blasted out of shape. Very poor.

Please use only certified not modify urself to save money and in the end lose ur life . If u have any friend using the household tank as a NGV please tell them about the dange. SAve them while you love them

the LPG tank is for LPG, not NGV...bar the consequences, LPG fuel has already been researched and developed by UTEM...

by now, still dont know how far they goes(on the project)...

p/s: already drive LPG's 660cc kancil...not bad(almost same power)...but nothing good except low fuel consumption....boring....

i think its POINTLESS using lpg as burning fuel, the price is almost the same here in Malaysia.
then u need to invest 4k for the conversion kit.

what u get back in only 1 thing, PROBLEM....

UTEM is doing R&D for lpg as an alternative fuel, but lpg in now using in through out the world, even in malaysia, why they still need to do the R&D...
haha. funny University. :banghead:

u might compare the price, but the consumption is almost half of the petrol..what we're looking is sen/km..and the advantage over NGV is u can get the refill, 'tong', almost anywhere. even kampung orang asli been using NGV gas for their cooking..

u need to do RnD when u want it to be yours..or u can buy the 'license' and sell it over here..raising their brand..:banghead:
