landrover 109 series 3 1jz/rb25?

any idea of converting my landrover into 1j/rb??
any rec. around kuantan??
as well as body work-to clear up rusty part, dented area, and new paint job.
estimate cost RM10k?

landrover got no rust on body panels...it was aluminium if not mistaken.....but surely painting was quite delicate job to prepare the body....

and all other mechanical parts as well....

chassis and some of the panel was made of steel. and its a bit rusty especially window frame area.

I'll prefer diesel,..at least it feels and sound more like an off-roader..

4x4 with legendary toyota engine sound more interesting??
by the way, i've asked someone, he told me now puspakom wont approve for this kind of engine transplant. :hmmmm::hmmmm:

hrmm,.but it wud be a real surprise to see a 1J / RB25 inside... there was one hilux i know of using a 2JZ tubo manual before,but sadly,burst into flames... and a Jeep Cheerokee running on 1JZ...yeah,it does turn heads...hehehehe

yeah...if got v8 from new range rover better....



-back in my hometown there was "carryboy" if not mistaken using rb-cefiro engine from his son's car....since his son's cefiro use skyline engine...so he use all the leftover part onto his powill.....(surely only left with tuwill)

wow... roadtax fee going to be big issue for me later.. hahaha...
more power, more cylinders, more money coming out... more fun too..
too sad not enough money to afford it only. and i dont think the chassis can stand for it.

why not try to look for toyota hilux turbodiesel engine complete with 4wd system????


atleast u can still plowgh through jungle at ease with 4wd

hilux? not bad.. but planning to get something different. 1jz is set..
just wonder it can be fit into my 109 or not. hahaha.....no running 4WD. mostly use for town drive and carry some stuff only.
