As we spoke to SIC early, confirmed there won't be any free ticket to any participants this year. Therefore we might not be participated the event.
We are trying our best to negotiate more deal for member whose wanna join the GT lookalike contest BUT
Confirmed NO FREE ticket is given away. This year only 24 SELECTED cars from the 2 contests held in Time Square & Sunway Pryramid will be allowed to park at the Mall area. 15 cars from Penang, 15 cars from S'pore and Malaysia Skyline Club have confirmed to join the event.

Pls note that Autovention will be officially handling the Japan Super GT roadshows on behalf of Sepang International Circuit and once again we are pls to announce that we've lined up the Super GT look-alike contest for the roadshows.
On behalf of Sepang Circuit we would like to inform all that this event have been renamed as " The Super GT Wannabe Contest 2008".
The venues for the Super GT Wannabe Contest 2008:
1) Berjaya Times Square on the 14th June 2008 (Saturday) at the main entrance.
2) Sunway Pyramid on the 21st June 2008 (Saturday) at the new wing entrance (Orange Wing Entrance)
Pls note that both venues are confirmed and we've secure the areas for this contest.
Mechanics of the Contest:
1) A total of 60 cars for each venue on a first come first serve basis (Due to limited space at both venues)
2) Autovention will invite motorsports writers from the local medias to be the judges for this contest totalling 3 judges. To encourage fair judging.
(If local medias turn down the judging offer Autovention and SIC reserve the rights to source for other indepent judges)
3) This year through the directive of Sepang International Circuit there will be no more free tickets to the race on the 22nd June 2008. Winners will have to purchase the tickets BUT will be allow to drive their cars into the Welcome Centre during the race.
However, as previous years cars parked inside the mall will ONLY be allow to leave the Mall area 30 minutes after the race. This is to ensure the safety of the general public as they walk to the car park after the race.
PLEASE INFORM ALL PARTICIPANTS ON THIS RULE!!!
4) We are not able to confirm now on the prizes up for grabs this year as we're still talking with sponsors for prizes. (Will update as soon as possible on this issue)
5) We'll be selecting ONLY 24 cars from this contest to be given the opportunity to drive into the mall for the GRAND FINAL which will be held on the race day 22nd June 2008. Where they will be competing with other cars from Singapore / Northern states for the Grand Prize. (Details of the drive into the Mall will be advise at a later date)
