Of course u may go for those aftermarket intake manifold provide u own a b16b engine / b8cr engine. Else u still hav to buy a b16b/b18CR fuel rail, injectors n also da TB coz the skunk2 / blox racing intake manifold is just the manifold alone. For ur info, Skunk2 manifold alone is selling at 1.3K. Happy modding.
But for the B18C GSR owners.
Skunk 2 Manifold 1.3K
injectors (B16A) 240cc (same like B18CR) you have this already haha. (injector servicing/balance/flow test (RM100 something)
Fuel rail = RM 600-1000 (billet new, or the S2 composite fuel rail, I'm not sure how much the fuel rail is, I'm guessing ATM. No brand billet rail I think around 600, but I'm not sure as well.)
That's about 1.9K for new stuff sans throttle body. IACV from B-16's can be used on s2 intakes, because they allocated the mounting. And also the s2 can accomodate up to 75mm butterfly TB's (turbo le tu) without requiring the need for a throttle plate adaptor, because for normal CTR ITR intakes, the IACV passage is a bit closer, compared to s2's.
But say you retain the rails, since you are running 1.8L already, then the pricing won't be much different, and you can even afford that billet throttle body with a slightly higher pricetag, while reusing most of your other stuff.
For TB, depending on what you use, the price may vary, but I really like the look of billets a lot better.
Now, before anyone starts saying something about the injectors not the same, yes, the connectors are not the same, but capacity wise, they are. The 240cc at 100% duty cycle can output more fuel than the fuel pump (if you run it that long at 100%), so if you want to upgrade your injectors, heh.. you should have bigger budget already.
It's runnable as I tested, but observe the AFR fluctuating slightly... hehehe :P
up to the owners budget, I guess..
