We’ve all wondered what it would be like, but few could actually get the chance to put it in practice. What are we talking about? It’s a direct comparison of between driving a course in real life and on Gran Turismo 5 with the same car and wheelman.
Denis Malevanyi is quite the driver and he’s hustled a BMW M3 around the Nurburgring with the best of the lot. Once in the comforts of his couch though, he’s also quite the PlayStation3 addict and can hustle a virtual M3 around a virtual Nurburgring with the same ease in real life.
Many tests have shown that a good driver on the virtual screen can take to the tracks in real life with quite a head start, but what about somebody that’s good in real life and takes to a Logitech G25 instead?
Malevanyi has captured footage from his real life exploits at the Green Hell and the same on the television screen and combined them for as pretty accurate comparison between the two.
