i am driving wira
i have change my extractor from 4-1-1 to 4-2-1
but no cover to cover the hot air out from extractor
izzit got other cover to cover it?
because the hot air just now spoil my air cond fan motor
i afraid it wil happen again
so izzit any other ways to ovbercome this problem?

guess the only way to overcome is by custom the cover or ask them to weld the nut and screw for your original cover on the extractor it self... :D

i ask aredi,

but they say no cover can cover
need to buy special cloth to cover it
but dun know where can buy it?
n how much ah?

lf that problem,,,,,, u just use glass cloth tape. u can get it at hardware...

u can warp it using termal warp material which u can get at accessory shop

actually u can used back the existing heat cover...only u add a bracket from the existing point..

what if u try using the thermal wrap, it is sold aftermarket at any performance shop around. i dunno the price but it is quite costly.

daniel,
i not yet do but last i install my extractor at powerzone, the mechanic said that it can be done...just contact them..

I've been using 4-2-1 for more than a year oledi.. no problem with cooling or anything.. cooling fan still ok... may be its just the time for a change on yours.. but notice the engine compartment is hotter..

Thermal wrap will help to reduce heat released to engine compartment.. its also better for performance as heat is kept inside the piping thus gases movement is faster( less dense, hotter temperature will lower density).. but heard that it could cause crack after prolong usage.. no experience so no comment

your car fast mah.. heat wont hve a change to soak yur engine bay coz u're always on lightspeed range...
