Hi all! Anyone knows what can be done easily to door rubber linings so to produce solid thuds when door is closed as well as to protect door from slamming by strong hands? Rubber hose? Take the wira/satria doors as DIY examples. Thx! :adore:

Wrong section bro.. Should put this in DIY Section...

Just add more silicon to inner door part (there's gap between safety bar and body) due to the old factory silicon (usually seen in black colour)

This type(silicon) used by factory(Proton) if not remove soon (7-9years) from purchasing car will cause rust on car body..

I've done this and the result.. superb. Especially when closing door. About the rust problem... PROBLEM FIXED. Done..!

Hehe thx bro Maxx... but what im looking for is a simple solution (if possible) to have a solid thud of a new car whenever the door is close....also a buffer to absorb "impact" to door internals like window or motor or wiring whenever ppl accidentally slam/close the door too hard.......hehe

the other solution is to use aquarium o2 hose/pipe.
the small one.
and carefully insert thru the door rubber (usually the rubber at body for the door, hope u understand which rubber).
the rubber got small holes rite. they r spaces between each other.
insert thru the holes.

this will make the rubber more (hmm, how to say.. more fat/big?)
