Hey guys, newbie here.

Would like to seek your guidance and/or opinions on finding a good reliable and affordable car body workshop in Setapak area. I've seen quite a number of them near the PV area, any of you guys been here and can recommend any?

Just minor body repair (I think...) minor dent and some scratches on the front wheel top part (sorry, no idea what the proper term is), some scratches on the sideview mirror and backdoor.

Also, any idea how much this all may cost? I will try to post some pics later when I get the chance to.

Thanks so much!

Hmm to be sure... SMK Chong Hwa is the one off Jalan Bandar Kampung Dalam right, not the one off Jalan Gombak? Just found that there are 2 'Chong Hwa's, so had to be sure.

(Sorry if that was a silly question - I'm not local so I don't really know the difference between SM/SMK and all that, plus I've only just moved to Setapak area about 2 months.. haha)

If you want cheap and fast at an acceptable quality,try KP service center beside Shell in Taman Melati. Send few cars there before.

Hi all;

I just had a bad experience. My Hyundai Sonata timing belt snap although I still have 13,000KM more before change. Yesterday I went to the workshop, 8 valve gone, piston rings loosen. I figure out it will be very costly to keep the engine, thinking an idea about swapping into Japanese engine i.e. Cefiro. I will still like to maintain the original gearbox with shiftronic, so can still use manual + auto transmission. Anyone can help out there.....:driver:
