Car Accessories/How to reset Keyless Entry.

Hi All...
Problem: Keyless Entry malfunction.
Brand: Toyota
Scenario:
1. Weak signal on remote due to battery (CR2032.3V) is low.
2. Manual entry by key & alarm is triggered & no signal of Engine Push Start.
3. Engine Push Start is functioning & engine can be started after a few time manual entry by key.
4. No signal Engine Push Start Start after battery replacement (but Engine can started via remote).

Your advise/help is highly appreciated.

Cheapo unknown brand battery?

It may sound weird but i exp with Honda HRV, using cheapo battery or the street term 'Mr DIY battery' will give unstable performance of the remote. Be careful if u buy online, even Maxell got copy. Google to differentiate ori amd copy.

My wife's suv remote can still use those cheapo battery but won't last. Now using branded ones last much longer.....lol
Saw some Maxell AA battery sold at RM2 shop, I was already thinking how can it be, sure are copies......

experienced once... bought a copy... the size it is slightly smaller... give problem with the contact.

Usually copies are pretty good in size and appearance, only performance don't last. The copy you bought must be pretty bad......lol
