Can Nissan Cefiro A32 fit with a VG30DETT (300ZX) engine?

Hi guys

need yr advice if the above is possible? i've been surfing alot on the net to find a decent answer but the only answer i got is a big NO!!!!

no one has every done it b4 ...

also i know no one has ever tried it in M'sia b4

the a32's vq engine is transverse (FWD mah..)

the z32's vg engine is longitudinal (RWD mah..)





u want more power?

change to the vq30de if urs is a 2.5L only..

if already a vq30, put in a supercharger..

hmmmmm thanx for the advice .. 1 more question .. where can i get a supercharger for my A32? i've met with a honda car sales man today at jln imbi & he told me his getting a supercharger for his A33 2.0L ...

only thing is it cost around RM14K to get it fix ... damn expensive man ... any cheaper alternative to get more juice out of the ride .... coz i'm planning to drop a 2.5L & install a supercharger ...

why 3.0 to 2.5 ... 1st reason .. petrol price increase ... 2nd reason ... cheaper road tax .... 3rd reason ... save difference in road tax for 3.0L to 2.5L .. & use the money to pay for petrol ... hahahahaha ..

hope u can give me some guidance .. really appricate it ...

i think bolt on turbo is easier lar.. engine transplant quite mafan nowadays.. need inspection all tht.. i been thru tht..
for ur car displacement should b very easy to choose turbine which doesnt giv much lag... juz choose the right 1..
my 0000.02 cents only lar..

u could custom a supercharger or a turbocharger.. it might cost u around 10k as well (u need the turbine/compressor, piping, intercooler, engine management/piggyback, etc)

as for the roadtax, 3.0L costs a bit higher than the 2.5L but fuel consumption does not differ much (I own an A32 3.0L).

but if ur after performance.. fuel, modifying costs are EXPECTED to be high..

if ur lookin for performance, there's no replacement for displacement..



if u want cheap performance mod.. put in a 2.5 inch exhaust system, a less restrictive air filter and a fuel management piggyback..

power ain't cheap bro..
