hi all zth sifu's..
got 1 question about Speeding Meter ..

mine RSM Speed reading got very big gap (analoq Vs Rsm)
Analoq 50kmh but RSM display around 100++..
i know RSM can give the acctual reading compare to analoq meter
but why n how to set it to normal or maybe my RSM 'KONG!'

any idea..help!!!

Thanks

just a suggestion, i haven't had such symptoms in my rsm, but try check the setting esp the cylinders setting, but couldnt be me think that's jus affect the rpm... anyway just double check.....

Bro kenneth..cylinder setting set to 4 clyn..dont know why, REV Reading ok..
now Monitor display set to 2 channel, rev & speed only..

for ur info i put together safc2 D1 spec and Rsm D1 Spec..

woh...so high la the reading..
so..if u drive about 150..
ur doing 200..hahahaha...
mine at first are just 20kmh gap...
but when send to the mechanic..
it was all abt the wiring..
consider i bought the car 2nd hand..

not la bro vitrous..maybe if i drive around 150kmh the meter display i think around 280kmh maa..hahaha

anyway wait for tomorrow, i'll check it again..
maybe if u all got the tip plzz advise k..

have u programmed it with the right size of rim/tyre...?

if u do find it....please state whether ur problem solved or not...:)

wheel size does affect ur speedo reading wat is ur wheel size?

i'm using 205/45/R16 tyres...
how the diameter?

Formula from manual apexi

Corr. Value = New Tyre Dia x 100
Factory Tire Dia

so if std wira come with 175/60/R13 right..

how did u solve it what went wrong ur formula got prob ke?

i ensure is wiring problem.

coz, it happened to my car also. At first, i thought how come so much gap, i thought my analogue is wrong or gone crazy! took it back to my mechanic, 1 single wire coz all the messed up.
