When signing in halfway the whole msn will hang and not responding.

It's been a problem for sometime now for MSN Messenger 7.5... An update is coming out soon to help with this problem.

Version 7.5.0319 improves the sign in process more thoroughly, as well as the error reporting linked to it. Something else that's been fixed is a bug with emoticon shortcuts via the IME (Input Method Editor) in Korea. On a commercial note, the conversation window text ads will show properly on Dynamic Backgrounds from Blue Mountain. Finally, build 319 says goodbye to a bug in a DLL that would make MSN Messenger crash if you unplugged a USB device after running the Audio Video Tuning Wizard on that device.

i dono anyone has this prob..... i cant see some people in list when they online.... and suddently they message me.. still in offline mode... i and they dont appear online in the list

i didnt know u can chat while in offline mode in the new msn7.5...?!

Maybe they put invisible or something.

My prob is a bit different. Every now and then, MSN will disconnect by itself. Don't know what causes it.

one question..for those who was using ICQ previously..remember there's an option where you can put someone you do not wish to communication on the "invisible" list where they can't see or messege you at all(whether you are online or not).

does the MSN has that option?

I'm using 7.5 but I can't chat with "appeared offline" mode..

Actually, MSN sucks la. The features sucks. There's so little freedom and options for the users. We should all go to Yahoo or go back to ICQ. So much more flexibility.
