Suggest how to do a atr become 350-500 whp with stock piston and stock stroker ....
That's about 400-600 hp on engine. Slapping on a huge GT35 turbine & supporting parts should get U there.

Firstly, i doubt stock pistons and crank on Airtrek can withstand that kind of stress.

Secondly, the auto gearbox definitely fried.

Too be more realistic, 350whp is achievable & reliable using stock internals on Airtrek turbo. Good enough already bro, anything more would make it not driveable as a daily/street car.... seriously.

I am not greedy. If I can get 280whp, I'll be glad already. That's about 350hp in the crank.

Yea..yea...me too...I'm not greedy too....glad already if get 280whp =)
Frankly, with an Airtrek turbo, U will be heavy on the gas pedal only at the beginning after doing all the mods. Once U're over it, U'll be hardly on boost, will step on it occasionally when overtaking or being cucuk that's all.

Yup. Agree what u said n me too. I've lowered my boost from 1.3 down to 0.9. I don't race it much at all.

1st, Stock Internal can take it, but dunno how long, your engine condition?? if brand new, then possible. Safety, such as coilover and bbk
2nd, GB, pls rebuild the GB or change manual transmission
3rd, Fuel System, Injector
4th, Cooling System
5th, Aftermarket Standalone ECU
6th, .............
7th.................

conclusion, spend money to get 350-400whp...

high hp car without stroker kit is a pain in the ass n waste money.i bet u won't drive the car mileage over 100k.
big turbo full spooling time takes ages.the turbo lag sux very big time unless is ball bearing turbo.
even civic will have better pickup if side by side on traffic light.

For me, anything above 300hp is better dealt with manual tranny. 2.2 stRoker kit is good for bigger turbo to avoid lags.

280 is just nice for daily driving machine... what's the fuel consumption like? litre per 100kms?
Averaging 380-420km per full tank Ron95 within KL-PJ city driving.
I'm using manual 5-speed & running 2WD only

Quite good.... Mine stock std I'm getting only 370km full tank...precisely 12.89ltr per 100km....

guess becoz ur running on 2wd and manual tranny....that's why u r getting damn good mileage...

Have to consider doing ur mods then... Heheh...

I asked Ah Wah before about removing the drive shaft and converting to 2wd. He said the car will certainly feel lighter and more responsive. Better pickup and more efficient too. The draw back is the AWD grip and feeling is gone.

Yea bro, its a compromise. U gain something & U lose something.
Personally, I feel that I gain more than what I lose coz I hardly utilize AWD grip. Of course, that's just me, others may not agree with my opinion. Afterall, I spend 90% of the time driving like a gentleman.....heheee

U probably need AWD if U drive fast most of the time, even in the rain, taking corners at high speed, or race your Airtrek at Sepang regularly, participate in a off-road rally ...maybe ;)
