Guys,

As you know, SV4 is an old model so the door panels are all a bit loose and vibrating. When I shut the door, it sounds very irritating. I think it's because I dismantled it too many times over the years to fixed power windows and central locking problems

What can I do to fix/replace it to make it like new? Is there any interior specialist that can help? Or do I have to buy half cut SV4 doors and replace it?

Thanks.

I think because the clips are worn and getting loosen. I have bunch of these door clips in excellent condition removed from FD or EK 2000 years. should help to keep the door panel stick with the door frame.

On the other hand, make sure your power window motor is tightened well and door lock are safely secured too. These 2 things will sometime get loosen.

One more thing, check the clips on the power window motors that hold the window. Sometime the windows tabs are cracked or snapped off can make lots of noises as well.

All these requires someone who is DIY oriented so if you are not one of them, then bear with it, or hire someone else to do a thorought checking.

Or maybe it's time to change ride.

Has anyone here bought those hammers for breaking glass in times of emergencies? These hammers come in many shapes and sizes: some look like a regular hammer but with pointed metal tip and others look like a pocket knife (where you push a button and one sharp object pushes out).

These hammers/tools also have blades to cut seat belt in case we are stuck and need to get out.

But my burning question is: can this hammer be used on windows with security tint? I emailed one popular company...
