Anyone tried this combination before? can the 4G91 gear box sustain or go to high rev like the MIVEC? please advice all the sifu!
 
i not sure the final drive ratio but below than standard proton 4G9X 4.32 final drive. suitable for topspeed run , not for drag if used at na engine below 200 hp.
for ur spec mivec 1.6 , standard mivec final drive ratio 4.59 is the best with on the road body.
 
Not adviceable as it will be very sluggish in acceleration as the powerband when gear changing all will be out.

Its feels like starting the car on 2nd gear to move the car from stand still, and also when gear change it feels like shifting from 2nd gear direct to 4th gear....
 
my car 4G91,change out ratio 4.5...good for drag but top will loose...using super light flyweel.....can go till 8.5 K-9k RPM still not problem...
 
how about 1.8 mivec,what the best gear box combination.?

need to give specific data bro , what type of driving....drag, track, or street used.
also spec of the car like body weight , rim n tyre size , engine hp n tork , cam spec , etc.:driver:

If u r a highway man, u need to use 4G91 gearbox ( FD=4.021 ) to have a fuel economy and more relax on ur engine RPM.
For those hard rock, mivec need an original gearbox to match.

just transplant 4g91 at in my wira
can anyone suggest me the best combintaion for everyday usage
