Yep, you can start by comparing 1ZZFE with 3SFE

PS:The ZZ family of engines is co-developed with Yamaha

there are a few 2zz guys running on pfc..... some running lower Lift point and some higher... depends what cams you are using... pfc is meant for manual only but can be hooked up with Brashboy harness to the auto 2zz and work as a piggy back.....

I heard 1ZZFE is only in JAPAN, correct me if im wrong:hmmmm:

nope... there are a couple of 1zz in M'sia... 90% of S'pore celicas are 1zz.....

1zz=GT=vvt=zzt230
2zz=GTS=vvtL-i=zzt231

1zz fe = toyota

2zz ge = built by yahama for toyota (specs goals give toyota)

there is SAE paper on this.

on HP ~ 3SGTE (boosted) > 2ZZ ge (NA) > 1ZZ fe (NA)

& yes there are some who used PFC to lower lift point, but no gains.

engage in 6K rpm; dissengage 5.5K rpm

koolsyda... I do know some ppl who benefited from lowered Lift point..... on the contrary, my lift is set at 6500rpm... :)

some done it to help linear changeover & their subsequent i guess
