1.6L > 2.0L

Hi all!

I heard that the JPJ rules changed… Is that true that:

1.5L > 1.8L max
1.6L > 1.8L max
1.8L > 2.0L max

But according to JPJ previous rules, the maximum allowable upgrade is 25% which means 1.6L can go up to 2.0L.
Can anyone guide me with this?

1.6 to 3.0 oso no problem.

But have to follow correct procedure and mounting cannot cut & paste.

If VR4, (mounting need to cut and paste) DEFINATELY cannot register nowadays.

Syarat syarat yang perlu dipatuhi ketika membuat pertukaran enjin

1. Tidak ada pengubahsuaian pada enjin ‘Mounting’
2. Kimpalan pada enjin ‘Mounting’ tidak dibenarkan.
3. ‘Propeller Shaft’ tidak dibenarkan dipotong atau disambung di mana-mana bahagian.
4. Tiada keretakan atau karat pada enjin ‘Mounting’.
5. Sistem brek perlu dinaikkan taraf bagi enjin kapasiti melebihi 25% daripada kapasiti enjin asal.
6. Sistem gantungan (Suspension System) perlu dinaikkan taraf merangkumi 'Spring Stiffness'.

Last time, got $$$ sure can. In fact, anything goes.

But nowadays not so easy as before.

Alot of Proton people with VR4 now are crying because they can't get their rides registered despite willling to pay $$$$ to JPJ.

Getting more and more stricter control.

WIra / Satria / Putra who want 2 liter turbo legally can only opt for EVO :(

well words are easy to be put , some people still thinks money helps , but then in my case , go in halal also cannot , pay money also cannot , 4 times fail inspection . tiu i boring already . wasting time & wasting money , cause they say brake tak makan , but when u do up your brakes , they say still tak makan , then suddenly because i got no tinted they fail me , kesalahan BERCERMIN CERAH . :lol: then the 4th time i went in , everything la tak betul , sideslip test la , suspension la , handbrakes la , cermin la , damn pundek man . my 3 previous test results , all okay only that my brakes are not up to par , but the last time , they really gave me a blast .

aa good news for VTEC kaki..i found something on internet lah..no need B20B block to get 2000cc...so dun have to think about register new block can or not. there is CROWER stroker kit for B16 block to get 1.6L to 2.12L !!!!

laws for proton is that you can only go until 1.8 no matter you are a 1.3-1.8 owner.....
