if its modded engine, get a IW22 or IW24. if bone stock, better use IW20 for better cold start ignition. the colder the plugs, the worst cold start ignition.

Plugs have from hot to cold, reference for daily drive are usually 5 and 6, eg. NGK model BPR5ES.
If car is daily drive in town start and stop driving usually using number 5 hot plugs and hard driven or highway use can use number 6, but best still follow car manual recommendation.
If engine is modded with extra horses if not mistaken 50 to 100 bhp increase then can use colder by one number, so if normal is 6 then look for 7.

Why I mention so cold is because IW24 reference to NGK is number 8 cold plugs.....:driver:

hiya guys im new here.
currently im driving my oldman's car a freakign big volvo 240.its a nice car,very reliable and rear wheel drive...
one thing im pissed of with this car is that the engine sucks lotsa fuel.and has not much power to go around.ive done some calculating....fro for rm10 i can go up to 20km ONLY.:cry_smile:

so im planning to change the engine to a more 'fuel efficient, powerful engine'.so which engine guys think?
gurus...plz help.lol my fren suggested to just dump in...
