Yeah I was just going to comment on this. Even 600hp at the engine is tough going and where everything really needs to be up to scratch. Otherwise it's not long before engine failure occurs.
It also involves quite a lot of money to be spent...easily above RM20k I reckon, if you start from a stock rb26.

I know this will be controversial, but the rb26 is not a 2jz larrriiiiiiiiii :burnout:
Bro, stock car. Even if you do forged 2.6 engine is how much? What about other mods? Cooling, fueling, stopping, turning, handling, ECU, etc? Not cheap and not worth taking shortcuts. At least 50k from stock standard minimum. If you want crate engines than nothing under 100k on mods alone.

Hehe i know im a weirdo. Im going to put in a V-pro and tune the engine to its maximum output (with everything stock!!) but since i have extend to build the car in 5 years, so i hope to get a clutch that can cope that long period (kinda impossible...... but hopefully as long as possible)

I think 600hp on flywheel is good enough i guess? limited fund for the clutch is because i have to save some money for the engine :)

There's someone selling an ORC triple plate clutch here for RM2500. I've seen the plates with my eyes and they look almost new!

Try looking over at the market place section.

I've just sold my Nismo twin plate clutch for cheap :bawling: plates are quite worn but some experienced dudes who drove my car (without my permission! But I'm not too worried ) say that it's a very nice clutch to drive - better than HKS or OS.
triple plate for that price sounds like a good deal! but wont it be overkill my stock engine?

I reckon 50k minimum if you buy brandnew parts for an absolutely stock rb26.

You can do it a lot cheaper if:
1. There's already a lot of tuning parts in the car when you bought it.
2. Buy used but still in good working condition parts.
3. Sensible mods eg. Garrett instead of HKS, stock IC instead of big, stock radiator, induction piping etc....:love::love:

Remember I've got for sale a basically complete rb26 with forged HKS pistons for a lot cheaper than 10k, a complete induction and turbo kit and downpipe for a lot cheaper than 10k, and also 700cc injectors. The complete lot for much less than 20k hehehehehe sorry for the promo :biggrin:

BTW, my turbos has been checked by turbo specialist and are fine to use

With everything stock you won't ever get near 600hp laa :nurse:

The engine just doesn't flow enough air - you will need bigger turbos.

Plus you need more fuel - stock injectors are only 444cc.

Bro, gobiz said twin plate.

Anyways, V-Pro is wasted on a stock GTR. Not that there aren't any benefits but the you're limited by so many things - stock turbos, stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock etc (you see where I'm going with this?) If you give us a budget, time frame we can probably guide you regarding your quest for 600hp flywheel. Although I can't promise that I'll be around in 5 years to see you through.

To stray off topic, I'm starting to feel that I've spent more than enough on cars to be honest and also the passion is gone. I hardly drive the car as it is. I see most of the guys here maybe once a year if that. My group of friends have long since left the scene so perhaps it's time for me to call it a day.

Gobiz reckons his R32GTR is worth 150k. :stupid: Add another say 25k and you can have my R34 GTR V-Spec II as is. Serious offer, screwing up his bloated valuation is an added bonus. What next? Well russellwestwood took up flying; so I might take up ballroom dancing

LOL i know its kinda waste for V-pro for a stock shit. But my first thought was since im gonna use the ecu in the future anyway so why not plug it in first. I would like to see whats the different if i built the engine step by step. Yeah its kinda tricky but well.. own a GTR is not gonna be cheap to maintain anyway. :/
