Just did the 40k service today. Trip meter reading at 39617km. Upgraded my full synthetic from Petronas synthium 1000 to 3000. Brand new air filter, CVT gear oil, radiator coolant, diagnostic, brake oil.

Now the car feels so light and sharp. Chop chop all the way in highway haha;)

Bump: Latest update:

Eon bank:

Downpayment RM 20k

Loan AmountL RM 80k

Max repayment yrs: 9

Interest: 3.5-3.75%

So potential lowest monthly installment: RM974 X 108 months (3.5%)
RM 990 X 108 months (3.75%)

Kindly check with your own bank manager for better rate.

Thanks you!

nice car!
another stupid Q but is that ur best price?

cheers.
Well asking for best price is never stupid jab. Since this car is still very new with full warranty and another free service+parts at 50k km (next service), i think i can't just let it go at a very cheap price. Anyway if one is very keen on it, i wouldn't mind to give some negotiation so you don't have to spend too much on your insurance. Mind you that the road tax is cleared till next yr April - another 10 months+ to go.

Took some pictures - the interior and the xenon.

Here you go!!

P/s: The paddle shifter are magnesium alloy, not some plastic cheapo crap.

Thanks big bro. I made the decision to buy it within seconds the first time i saw the car. To sell it, it takes almost forever to make the decision. That's why i still choose to use the best engine oil available for this car in SC.

thanks mate. The wheels kinda match its black body. Not for selling separately sorry.

Bump:
bro,

GLS version also come with paddle shift?
Okay there are 3 versions of GLS.

The first version comes in beige interior and wood panel thingy on dash - 2007. Most of my friends who bought it got sick of the interior and one of them gone for full recaro tomcat conversion front rear.

The second version (mine) came in black sporty interior with carbon fibre panelling - you can see in my pic - 2008.

Both these 2 versions has the same engine, chasis, gearbox, paddle shift with GT.

The differences are (in GT)
1. Front strut bar
2. Sports suspension
3. 18' shoes
4. 6 CD in dash
5. Leather interior
6. Spoiler

See for my car the essential upgrades
1. Sports suspension
2. 18' light weighted rims
3. Evo X replica spoiler + rear diffuser

Not interested with 6 CD/leather/front strut.
Interesting mod one can consider next =
1. OEM Recaro seat (Evo X)
2. Summit strut bar/ Ultra racing bar
3. 2-din head unit
4. Tein super street

And yeah the 3rd version of GLS does not come with paddle shift - 2009.

My personal conclusion: 2008 GLS = best value for money.

Bud

Excellent car.

What I really hate about the banks is that a sexy car like this can only get RM 80K loan. ie. d/p of 20K + is required for this car. I dont see any reason why banks cant give loans close to the market price of the car like in this case around 90+ to 100K as I am certain that they can sell this car at this range if the new owner does default on payments.

Another example is why an MR2 or an MX5 cannot get loans where there is still much demand? Answer, it is more than 10 years old. What crap. I think there is more demand for an MX5 compared to a 9 to 10 year old Proton Waja ( which you can still get a loan)

Good luck if you do want to sell the car again.
