I'm a total n00b when it comes to audio for your car. Currently only with stock head unit & speakers.. I'm planning on getting a USB capable head-unit with the usual CD drive as well. What models do you guys recommend?

Budget..around 300 maybe? not sure if this alot or what. I'm not planning to have a 10K ICE system in my car. Should be no problem with the standard speaker & wiring setup if I purchase a new head unit right?

go with the Rockwood. Its a hybrid of Kenwood and Rockford Fostgate. Or even better the Kenford
