n any sifu here knw wat is the price for w124 260e halfcut?

thanks and regards

the japanese engine has better power...and cheap plus got a lot of stock and spare parts...
the bad side is ur car is an european made and the engine is asian made...
rojak car...mostly problem with electronics if the wireman dont know his stuff...

toyota supra engine in bmw 5series seen before ,....Merz not sure mabe can too

toyota 7M-ge or supra engine oso can fit in if not mistaken....saw one older benz fit it...but duno wat model of benz..not familiar..hehe

thaks for the input. btw Toyota Supra is Turbo engine rite. any none Turbo engine to recommend.

thanks and regards

supra got non turbo engine also.. both 2jz and 7m came with both turbo and NA. wan power then go find 1uz. last i heard its cheap cuz there's no demand here.

thanks bros. how much for 2jz engine. heard oso got 1jz rite, wats the different.

spare part senang to get kah.

thanks and regards

W123... BEST FIT with Nissan RB series. even the steering rack can fit in.

W124... 260E half cut is selling less than 10k.

i see in bangkok.. lots of old mercs or bm they all do transplant of putting in toyota 1jz.. 2jz.. nissan RB...etc... salute them!!

dump in rb26dett inside.... most powerful of all nissan engines...

or u can opt for toyota engines such as 2jz or 3jz engine....

ohh.... my mistake.... i think i wanna say 1jz and 2jz... lolz.... sorry sorry for my noobiness....

if dump a toy inside, u have a lot of mod work to fit the engine. if u dont mind all these headache can even go for UZ instead of JZ. UZ can offer u more than JZ in NA mode.

I also planned to convert my W126 with the Nissan RB25DETT neo headcover ( more save in fuel consumption dt LEV). Anybody has experienced on this type of tranplant? I heard a lot of beemer's and W123 convert to RB engines series but not for w126. Any comment or suggestion from sifus?

As said by Doink, source a good mechanics and wireman. Transplant an engine is not a problem but the wiring is. I would choose the RB series over the jz eventhough toyota has a good reputation of reliable engine. It is because the RB can be fit nicely with the benz.

ummm...pardon the noobness, but doesn't the jpj have 'new' restrictions on non-same model transplants (i.e. bmw must take bmw engine) ? anyone care to share pointers bout this rumour that i heard?

last time a mechanic told, for europe made car,can dump in jap engine becoz these brand got little h/cut in the market.unlike jap,so our local made cannot chose other than mitsubishi and daihatsu.
last time i even saw a 4x4 dump in supra 3000cc

my cousin has a W124 with 1JZ, & a fren W123 with RB20. & i think W123 to fit in those engines is abit tide. seems no where for the engine to breath...

my cousin's W124.

YOu can no longer put a Jap engine into a Conti car anymore. Your car will not be approved by JPJ...even with money. They're very strict now.

If you get involved in a serious accident...you will be jailed for years for driving an illegally modded car. I'm not kidding.

but my cousin's another bmw has jus converted another 1JZ bout 2 weeks ago wo...
