Those who have lousy disc brake will know that sometimes our disc brake will become rusty, yes?
Question is, I know cleaning with solution will wipe away the rust stain, PLUS I intended to spray some anti-rust liquid over the disc brake, just for the sake for the looks, any concern if done?
I hope my braking distance won't increase..... that much..

I'm wondering how would your diskbrake actually get rusty with constant driving and braking in the city driving?

Mine's shinning as hell everyday, especially after a hot round around.

I've seen alot of rusty disc brake everyday....
Maybe I use very little brake? :P But seriously.... I think there are tons of cars with rusty disc brake.
Or is it my brake sux? Please don't say it is.... though i have to admit those aren't OEM disc.

that's normal lar i think... every time the brake is applied, friction
between the brake pad and the rotor surface will make the rotor
easier to be oxidised. If you leave your car static for few hours..
the oxidised layer will be created on the rotor..

actually the oxidised layer is easy to be removed.. as easy as touching
the disc rotor using your finger.

drive your car, apply brake again.. then the oxidised layer will be disappeared.. the process will be repeated again as you leave
your car stationery

Dremel, hate to admit it but you are probably right :D
I just noticed my car today and no more rust. So its a come and gone thing, nothing to be of concern. Thanks for the explanation though.

Well those are rust on the disc surface especially after it cooled down but then it's normal. When you run your car again and brake, all rust will be clear off.

there is NO NEED TO WIPE OR REMOVE THE RUST !

the braking surface of the disc wont be affected with rust. Problem
is the outer diameter & if your disc is ventilated I'm sure there
would be rust on & inside the ventilation holes
