How do we compare material side by side , if it is from China or USA? by looking at the rust? All steel rust regardless where they are made from. The common steel that does not rust in the industry is stainless steel or aluminium. Care to share how to compare?

How do we compare material side by side , if it is from China or USA? by looking at the rust? All steel rust regardless where they are made from. The common steel that does not rust in the industry is stainless steel or aluminium. Care to share how to compare?

You can compare if you ask the forged rods manufacturer for the mill certificates. On the mill certs you can see which country the mill is situated, what the properties make up the alloys.

You can further compare by conducting a bend test for the forged rods. See which one breaks first.

how about 4g67 already rebore to 4g63t spec.is it consider as 4g63t?can it use above mods?

Yes u can use.But the 6 bolt rods little bits xspencive compare with 7 bolt rods.6 bolt block cant make a high rev.U have to put the gurdle but the 7 bolt already have.

Is it the girdle that limit the 6 bolt high rev. ability? What if i use lighter piston and con. rod. which will cause lower stress to the crank during high rev.?

What exactly the function of the girdle and how high is high rev. for 4g63 engine? Is it rev. or WHP that determine the need to use girdle?

it's act the rod ratio + piston weigh + rod weigh that determines how high u can rev your 4g63,girdle is just a solid insurance n a gud thing to have in ur build. I agree with jo1 on this :) cheers bro.
