wira 1.8 dohc got 2 type...
white colour and black colour

the white colour no recaro seat/basic car/racing ecu
the black colour yes recaro seat/momo/mmc ecu

ZeroDet is right, this is a very limited edition meant for racing only, to save weight, Proton chose to use 1.3 interior.

The original meter was 260km, but because it was spoiled, i changed it, and the last mileage was 200k, i have service record to prove it.

Wao.. this 1 legend proton... btw thr is a story behind this car.. act this wira not made for malaysia but is for oversea.. due to the un safety complain of the car it did not pass and rejected.. bck to malaysia as so cal limited edition.. no hard feeling wat im telling bro ;)

Dear Ecnella,

I am not sure which model are you referring to but definitely not mine. Due to Proton's active participation in rally motor sport in the 90's, they needed a homologated race car to qualify FIA's governed races, one of the requirement was the race car must be a production model, have at least 50 units made and available to the public.

I was one of the lucky guy who got hold of this car, partly thanks to my friend who was working inside Proton Motor Sport division. All the 50 units were sold to local buyers.

If you know Karamjit Singh (Malaysia rally driver), you may cross check with him, because he was the General Manager of Proton Motor Sport Division then.

Hey guys,

I own 2 of this babies....... extremely well maintained and painted with Galsurit paint... :)

FYI, for the APRC -> production units was 2,500units (all with the goodies!) -> C99 limited. White is the first time I am seeing this, but cannot confirm.

There were many export models which was only SOHC...
