Friends using PS31 say they are okay too, but I think Made in Vietnam. Hankook Made in Korea will be better if at RM165

Yes, it's relatively softer.

I think Ps31 is more like entry level performance, while v12e2 is true uhp.

That is the thing, both Tire rack and UK tyre review puts PS31 as UHP Summer.
Then Tire rack put V12evo2 in Max and S1 Evo2 in UHP, whereas Tyre review puts S1evo2 in Max and V12evo2 in UHP.......lol

But Tire Rack review of PS31 actually concluded that it's performance fell short of true UHP.

I think S1E2 and V12E2 are same category.

You need to try to find out. Different car and setup also will yield different results. My VR was on Land Golden LG27, unknown brand but to me is not bad for the price. Only RM220 for 215/45R17.....lol

I'm quite sure ps31 is below V12E2 and still entry level performance because the utqg rating is only 400/A/A. No true uhp tire has tread wear rating as high as 400. The highest I know is only up to 340 for Continental ECS.

Another car using Kumho KU31, seldom used and the car not driven fast, actually not bad. Better than Falken ze912

KU31 was one time Kumho top UHP tyres, whereas ZE912 is Falken Ziex range and is mid tyres only. Falken UHP tyres is the Azenis range

Wet performance... After 30k shakey if pool of water at a speed of 110kph.

Still will buy it at price of rm 195 or less per tyre for 195 50 15 or 195 55 15

After 30k km, almost half worn, sure aquaplaning resistance will be poorer......
