just change new 1.6 twin port big valve engine , as41 crank case, tiptop condition , solex34 single carb , 4to1 s/steel exhaust system, 51amp germany alternator , new denso japan aircon , new big clutch plate / pressure plate / bearing / push rod , new smoke (Delfi look-a-like) oil pressure & temp gauge , new Hankook 195/60/15 tyre all round.
seldom drive it ,maybe once per month( because it was 5th car at home ) the engine was tiptop condition , each time i start it was water coming out from the exhaust tail pipe , and the engine sound was so smooth & quiet ( you need to come to test it yourself to believe :) no engine oil leak , very good fuel consumption 13km/L ,whenever i leave it for 1to 2 month never start , it will fire up at first crank,
this beetle was 1969 model , but i convert it to 1978 look , so i change the 4 fender/ front & rear bonnet/ 2 doors/ head lamp/ tail lamp/ all rubberseal , all parts using 100% Germany made , no rust on this bug ,
suspension ... front using hi / low adjustable axle with koni soft/hard adjustable damper, rear std ,
steering is stock std , (because i like it) , gear shifter is T type short shifter ( order from USA) 100% sound proof using Dynamat USA include floor plan/ door/fire wall inside & out side/ roof top/ fender spend over RM4k for it , sun cool tinted all round, remote control alarm & center lock system/ power window, Alpine CD player / auto ant / 2 amplifier / front MB quart 335 component set Germany made/ rear active subwoofer system ICE spend over RM8k, front seat change to Honda CRX type /rear std, custom made california-style door penal
custom designed brand new air condition system, consealed air-con vent, hi-lo and temperature switch, blower motor and cooling coil from japan, heavy duty compressor motor, hi-quality radiator and cooling fan
remote control alarm system, hi quality maintainance-free starter battery, 3-m nomad custom floor mat
just buy and drive , no repair needed , but remember to change the engine oil every 3000mile or 3 months, than you can drive it to anyplace
