myvi 1.3 first gen cant accelerate above 120 km/h

i tot OD on is reduce the gear ratio.
Unfortunately new Myvi iKon doesnt have this feature anymore, seem to can't find it

OD off is it (dashboard got light) so can't go beyond 120km/h? Not right, even with OD off, can still go up to 140km/h easy in a Myvi 1.3L.

Why don't you get a co-driver to record the drive for you, complete with sound, so we can see & hear what's wrong.

what i found out so far is that my myvi will delay the shifting when at full throttle... i need to release the pedal for it to shift

it seriously sounds like you have an OD issue

My old 91 saga overhauled in 2004 still can do 150 kmh at 5000rpm in 5th gear. Bog standard, just been using syntethic oil since overhaul. the PCV valve hasnt clogged yet.

I think i found out the problem already. problem cause by too much back pressure in exhaust system nothing to do with my gearbox :biggrin: after changing to straight flow can reach 140 easily.

thank you for all ur help :adore::adore::adore::adore::adore:

No i think the problem was caused because my s flow (jian hang) and mid swirl bullet (kent wong exhaust) both have the function of storing backpressure in the exhaust system n cause too many pressure in the exhaust system not allowing the pressure to exit smoothly n my rpm cant rise smoothly.... :burnout: if im correct la :biggrin:

Got picture of your s flow? Curious how it looks in a myvi.
